I made the big mistake of buying a $13 inflatable at the drug store, then I made a mistake of buying a very firm, no give foam donut from a retail store. Third time is a charm when I came across this cushion on Amazon. I like the non-slip bottom, as I work 12 hour shifts at a sit/stand desk, so after standing it is comforting to know the cushion is in the same place that I left it. There is some give to the cushion that puts support in the places needed. The blue cover is washable and the zipper does not interrupt the function of the cushion.

In the past my husband had already tried a couple of seat cushions with which he was happy but not very happy, for this reason I wanted him to test this product to compare its characteristics. Due to the work he does, my sweetheart has to sit behind a desk for many hours and, no longer being a "kid", when he arrives in the evening he sometimes suffers from the classic back pain in the lumbar area and on the coccyx. This pillow measuring 40x45x8 cm, it is really well made and as you can see from the photos it is made of memory foam, the cover is removable and also washable in the washing machine, it is made of acrylic fabric and covered on the bottom with non-slip material made up of rubbery pellets which allows it to have good grip and non-slip on the chairs where it is placed. Furthermore, it also has a useful strap for attaching it to the seat where it is positioned. After trying it for several days my husband "judged" that the positive aspect of this pillow, compared to the previous ones, is linked to the fact that, even after several hours of use, one does not sink into it and always maintains good softness but especially consistency. In essence it does not lose the characteristic properties of slow release memory foam, it feels like sitting on an air bubble, cushioning the weight well. Of all those tested, this cushion, thanks to the good quality and adequate thickness of the foam, is the one that puts the least stress on the lower back. In summary it works very well with obvious benefits in terms of reducing lower back pain partly due to previous sciatica , a useful support, among other things, for those who have walking problems, to prevent very annoying bedsores and improve blood circulation. Of course, memory foam by its nature accumulates and releases heat, in summer it is necessary to have air-conditioned offices and/or homes. Even though my husband is not exactly a featherweight, this pillow adapts well to the buttocks and upper legs. The foam it is made of does not crush much, only as much as necessary based on how you distribute your body weight during the session. It is certainly a good product useful for all those who suffer from back pain after many hours of sitting but also for those who want to prevent such problems and have correct posture. This is a quality product. But I can't really use it as its designed. I could probably say the same thing about any number of other products. I need the angle of my legs CHANGED UPWARD with this. But it's designed to simply give the tailbone some extra room but the angle of the legs remains straight ahead. So I simply shove the entire pillow underneath my thighs and let my tailbone sit on the original surface while my legs are now slanted upward which is a much healthier angle. I wish these product designers knew this.

This donut pillow costs $30, but I can sit in comfort. I've only had it for a few days. I can sit on my leg like a weirdo or normally, and my pain is much less. If you love memory foam you will like the quality of this. For me, I prefer a sturdy standard foam but couldn't find such an option. Everyone is using memory foam. Feels good initially but gets rough when it bottoms out. It's like bad shocks on a car.

I need this because all of a sudden my tailbone seems to protrude out since I have lost weight and car rides and sitting watching TV is very painful. I ordered two different brands, one with memory foam and one without. This one has memory foam and is 40% less cost than the non-memory foam one. This one is larger so I can position my tailbone right in the middle so my tailbone sits in the hole. I feel so much better because the throbbing pain has been alleviated. I recommend this one for my particular affliction. I would give it 5 stars but, for this particular product, nothing will be perfect and I don't want to lead anyone into thinking it will satisfy their particular need.

I love the pillow but I find because I sit so much the opening isn't quite big enough. (I don't have an extremely large behind either). I sometimes get a tailbone cyst and this pillow hits that part. As regards my pain, I heard a lot about the donut pillow and thought of giving it a try. Speaking about the comfort of sitting on the pillow is good though but what I was looking for a thick texture as a plus size, and the pillow looks squishy and a small soft toy. The fabric is good, and the bottom has a grip pad. Not fully satisfied.

I bought this at my doctor's suggestion (not this brand, just this type of cushion). I find it very comfortable while sitting at my desk, but I bought it for traveling in the car, and I don't find it relieves the butt/hip (top of femur) pain as I hoped. I did shift my butt so the cushion was askew and that actually helped. I was hoping for total relief, but this only achieved partial relief in the car. I will keep it though. It's better than nothing. Funny now in the car it seems to squish down flatter than on my desk chair. Not sure why that might be.

Hubby uses this on his office chair and he absolutely loves it and would fight anyone over it :)Its sturdy and good quality – just the right amount of firmness. However, it is only in use by a healthy person for comfort – not by someone with a wound or infirmity that requires pressure relief.

Sadly this pillow provided me with no relief from my tailbone injury. It simply collapses / gets squished under my weight (and I'm not a big person), so there is no pressure taken off of my tailbone.

Bought for my father-in-law in a wheelchair, since he has been using it he no longer complains of pain due to having to sit all day

The kiss comes in a Rolle and if the man is Geduld hat, bekommt man es für den Transport wieder hinein. Es ist halt etwas schwierig, weil man es drücken muss. I also don't have the same thing, because of the Schaum after 24 hours of war, now again. Zudem können es Lute, die über 90 kg wiegen nicht nutzen und auch auf normaln Stühlen ist schwierig, weil es eine seltsame Größe hat. Larger seats, for smaller seats/sofas/seats. Es ist schwierg. Obwohl ich keine 90 kg wiege, empfinde ich das Sitzen darauf not so old. Since allerdings nicht im Rollstuhl sitze, cann ich nicht sagen, ob es da ok ist. Daher vergebe ich 3 Sterne.
