Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound therapy uses high frequency acoustic waves: between 1 and 3 Mhz. Ultrasounds are used in physiotherapy to dissolve adhesions or for anti-inflammatory use.

Ultrasounds are not audible to the human ear which instead comes to perceive only frequencies lower than 0,02 Mhz.
The basic principle for generating ultrasound is the same as that used for ultrasound.
Ultrasound therapy devices work by means of the inverse piezoelectric effect.
When the electricity passes through the quartz crystals contained in the head, a continuous expansion and compression occurs, the vibration of which emits sound waves.
