Mobile ramps for the disabled

Mobile ramps for the disabled are used:

  • to overcome architectural barriers such as steps, sidewalk edges and unevenness
  • to load electric scooters and wheelchairs on cars or vehicles in general

Always choose the longest possible ramp. The longer the ramp, the shorter the slope, making it easier to negotiate. The recommended slopes vary according to the weight and autonomy of the user or any assistant. Indicatively, they range from 1: 7 (14%) for manual wheelchair with self-propulsion to 1: 5 (20%) for manual wheelchair pushed by an assistant or electric wheelchair.
