Thanks to Jay's many years of experience, the JAY Balance Anti-Decubitus Pillow Sunrise Medical it has been designed to provide very high skin protection together with great stability and excellent comfort.

The new features of this Anti-decubitus cushion offer a high level of skin protection and comfort. A thick, contoured layer of soft foam prevents the ischial tuberosities and trochanters from touching the harder foam layer.

The new shape of the pelvic depression (PLA) with a rim without openings prevents the migration of fluid, the new design of the padding of the fluid and the double lining, internal and external.

The great stability and the excellent sitting position are obtained thanks to the pelvic depression design (PLA) based on anthropometric measurements and to the positioning elements that can be placed in the inner lining to meet specific user needs.

Molded, multi-layered foam base 

The JAY Balance Anti-Decubitus Cushion is made with a contoured closed cell foam base. Femoral transition point and posterior rim help prevent fluid migration while providing soft support to the trochanters and posterior pelvis

JAY Flow fluid or ROHO Dry Floatation air insert

The insert is the heart of the JAY Balance Cushion as it wraps around the bony prominences of the pelvis, maximizing pressure distribution and maintaining skin integrity.

Cushion can be chosen with either JAY Flow fluid insert or ROHO air insert that conform to each user's shape, adjust to seating positions, and ensure proper placement of fluid or air under the bumps bones to help protect the skin.

The positioning components

Thanks to the positioning components, the pelvis and thighs can be well positioned for many clinical applications. The Balance promotes orthopedic alignment, increases seating tolerance and accommodates the varied needs of the user.

Innovative "double lining" system
For great practicality and greater protection, the JAY Balance anti-decubitus pillow has the characteristic of having a double lining. The innovative technology applied to the two linings, internal and external, solves the need for a good microclimate and effective management of incontinence.

The inner lining of the JAY Balance anti-decubitus pillow is waterproof and easy to clean and dry, while the Aqua-guard zipper and tear-resistant thread ensure that the foam base stays dry. The external microclimatic lining dissipates heat and moisture for additional skin protection.

An external stretch cover and an incontinence cover are also available as options. All covers are machine washable at 60° and dry very quickly.
The elasticity of all the new outer liners allows the insertion of positioning elements without creating any surface tension while reducing the risk of skin damage.
3 types of liners are available: microclimatic, for incontinence and stretch.
