The S-MAX SELLA wheeled stairlift AAT, two in one, it is the most versatile and compact of the mobile stairlifts with wheels. This stairlift has a foldable and removable seat that allows you to choose how to use it: using the integrated seat or applying it to your wheelchair.

S-MAX SELLA is suitable for people who foresee the future use of a wheelchair and allows to optimize costs without upsetting their own habits and those of the assistant.

This kind of mobile stairlift it is able to transform itself from a stairlift with integrated seat to a full-fledged s-max model for wheelchair. This "transformation" operation makes it suitable for the different needs of the user.

Features

S-MAX SELLA embodies practicality and technology:

• Thanks to a low weight and a foldable structure it can be transported anywhere and used when necessary, such as at work or on vacation
• It does not require any physical effort on the part of the companion since the weight is always optimally distributed, guaranteeing extreme ease of use and maximum comfort for the user
• The minimum maneuvering space on the landing is about 80 cm
• It is equipped with a single support bracket, solid and safe, which allows it to be used even on narrow and spiral staircases
• It is equipped with two LEDs to make the steps more visible in poorly lit environments
• It has ergonomic and clearly visible controls and height-adjustable handles for an even easier and safer grip.
• Thanks to the Smart-Step function it is extremely comfortable and safe: the support bracket moves on a shock absorber, thus reducing stress
• Thanks to the solid rubber wheels it can be used indoors on wooden, stone, marble, PVC or carpet stairs without damaging them, as well as in open environments even on steel stairs
• It stops automatically at each step but offers the possibility to choose the continuous motion mode
• It is equipped with a removable safety key that acts as an "emergency stop" to prevent misuse by unauthorized persons
• It has a pair of automatic brakes that prevent the appliance from sliding forward over the edge of the step
• It is equipped with an energy recovery system to avoid getting stuck on the ladder when the battery runs out
• It does not require any effort on the part of the operator: the sensation perceived by both the assisted and the assistant is of extreme comfort and safety
• Once the seat has been removed, it can be quickly applied to the wheelchair using two hooks, without making any changes to the original structure (see Assistance)
• It has been successfully tested at the Technical University of Berlin in the Berlin-Cert controls and certifications section following the ISO 7176-23 and DIN EN 12182 standards for stairlifts.
