- The LIGERA walking wheelchair is recommended for those who want a tool that is simple to use, practical to fold and light to transport.
- From April 2023 we have added front wheels with a thickness of 5 cm (double the thickness of traditional wheels!) with reinforced steel forks which facilitate the use of the chair even on uneven terrain.
- The LIGERA wheelchair weighs only 12 kg, to facilitate travel by car or to store it after each use, it has a very practical closing/opening system and once closed it takes up little space.
- To make it easier for the assistant, the walking wheelchair is equipped with a parking brake that can be activated directly from the push handles, as well as directly on the wheels.

Purchased for a person who suddenly found himself unable to walk normally for more than a couple of minutes because he gets tired easily, the chair is excellent, it is simple and light, easy to use and easily transportable. The seat is very comfortable and wide for a slim person (70/80 kg.) of 1,70 m in height. The positive thing is also that the chair arrived practically ready without assembly and perfectly boxed so as to allow it to be opened and put on the road even from the less experienced, delivery even arrived two days earlier than the expected date and even with a telephone contact from the courier to confirm delivery, which is rare nowadays. For now I would say an excellent purchase considering also that in the pharmacy for a similar product the the cost we were asked for was around €500, but we must certainly also consider that the use made of it by the person to whom I sent it is occasional so for what is needed it is more than sufficient while if you are interested in something more solid and permanent I advise you to invest in a specific and more expensive product so that those who use it can be at ease.

The wheelchair is actually light and is very simple to fold and therefore easy to put in the car but I share the opinion of the person who wrote that it works very well on smooth ground and a little less so if there are ditches, perhaps due to its lightness. It arrives assembled but the assembly of the footrests drove us crazy and the instructions, although in Italian, are absolutely not explanatory. This is why I couldn't give it all the stars.

The delivery was very punctual and the product immediately made an excellent impression as soon as it was removed from the packaging: the wheelchair is in fact well finished and with a well thought out design, very easy to open and close and quite easy to carry by hand up the stairs ( I don't have an elevator that reaches the floor). The wheelchair was purchased for my mother's post-operative recovery and we have already used it for 4 days. Upon first use on the street, however, it immediately became evident that the materials are not of excellent quality and often where the pavement is not perfectly coplanar the structure tends to give way under the user's weight (in my mother's case we are talking about 50 scant kg) emitting sinister and quite worrying noises. It must be said that Rome is not really a city suitable for wheelchairs and often the absence of platforms for getting on or off the pavements and even more the lack of civic sense of the citizens (hence the carefree obstruction of the platforms or the occupation of pedestrian crossings by parked motorbikes, cars and vans) too often force one to go up or down the pavements in points where the difference in height with the road is as much as 10 or 15 cm, not the best for those traveling in wheelchairs. However for the use for which it was purchased (my mother alternates passive walking sitting in the wheelchair with active walking carrying the wheelchair herself and the recovery period should be less than a month) the wheelchair is suitable. Perhaps for more intense and prolonged use I would not recommend it due to the soft materials.

Very kind supplier, they anticipated the delivery as I privately requested given the urgency of a visit. It seems like a great product, of course time will confirm it. Very light, easy to handle, it also seems resistant to weight and beautiful colours.

I purchased this chair for my father, 65/70 kg, for a leg problem. It is really light, it opens and closes in a flash and weighs around 10 kg, so loading it into the car is extremely easy. Mainly used for hospital visits, therefore car parks and outdoors, excellent, even for long walks in the mountains (asphalt) it does its duty. I thought much worse for this figure, but instead it passed with flying colors. Dad says the seat is very soft and comfortable, so he likes to sit down and we go for long walks outside. I only got the front wheel stuck once, in the elevator, but no problem, dad stayed in place and the front wheel had no damage, restarted and off I went. The safety brake was also excellent, used in the mountains at the restaurant with an outdoor garden, on a slope, and the chair remained in place without problems. Highly recommended.

I'm sorry to write a negative review but I think it's important to inform. The wheelchair is certainly comfortable and light but in my experience of use with a 50 kilo person it has proven to be dangerous over time for general use on the street. Even on "normal" roads, every small (and I highlight small) anomaly in the ground can cause the front wheels to lock and an immediate forward unbalance of the person and wheelchair. On several occasions, despite paying attention, I found myself in potentially dangerous conditions for the person being transported. Even in a static position, if the seated person leans forward the wheelchair becomes unbalanced and causes a frontal overturn. As comfortable and practical as it is, I think it requires too much attention to avoid inconveniences. Unfortunately, the period for me to be able to claim the refund has passed It also has many positive sides, including lightness, ease of transport, comfortable seating, the large back pocket, the brakes (very useful) on the handle.But it is necessary to specify that:# In a static position you must avoid leaning forward with the torso and arms as if to grasp an object. #when moving, pay a lot (too much) attention to every (and I repeat every) irregularity in the ground. Of course, my statements are available to the seller / manufacturer for comparison. A few (essential) improvements and the product would be perfect.

It is silent, smooth, moves easily and is very beautiful. Not easy to solve, but perhaps we could study a way to rotate or slide the foot rest (or even part of the frame) because, when open, it could constitute a stumbling block. This is not meant to be a criticism but a suggestion.
