The High Comfort Harness  Invacare is part of the new range of harnesses designed to ensure the user, during transfers, the necessary support, full safety and maximum comfort. This range of harnesses includes numerous models, in different sizes and fabrics, to offer each patient the right model.

The proposed solutions come to the aid both of those who have only a slight motor difficulty, and of those who need complete support for the body and head.

A team of experts and occupational therapists have dedicated time and resources to develop a series of intuitive harnesses that are practical for caregivers to handle. This translates into a reduction in application times and greater confidence with respect to the aid.

The range of Harnesses Invacare is divided into 15 models, each available in six different sizes, with three fabric alternatives to choose from. Each patient can therefore find the right harness for him, for any type of use: daily transfers from the bed to the wheelchair / chair, to the toilet, the bathtub or the shower.

Technical Characteristics

• Optimal fit: all harnesses are equipped with a loop attachment to ensure high compatibility with sling bars and lifters
• Top safety and reliability: explanatory videos accessible via QR code, labels with clear and intuitive drawings to illustrate how to use
• Optimal comfort: materials soft to the touch to improve the degree of comfort, the sections that support the back and legs are padded for optimal weight distribution, soft padding in the area where the armpits rest, a particularly sensitive point
• Easy to apply: positioning pockets to slide between the patient and the backrest when the patient is seated to facilitate application, two references identify the center line of the harness and indicate the correct position with respect to the spine, colored slots facilitate correct positioning

This type of aid is available in three fabrics:

• Compact Polyester: a standard material easy to apply (it spreads easily in the desired position), fast drying (after washing)
• Network: to be used for bathrooms or for people who stay in the harness for a considerable period of time.
• Spacer: Breathable and bi-elastic fabric, soft to the touch, which adapts to the shape of the user's body, ensuring maximum support and comfort.

It is important to carry out a pressure ulcer risk assessment for patients who are destined to remain in the sling for a long time.
