After days of tailbone pain, I purchased this pillow and anxiously awaited it. As soon as I tried it, I breathed a sigh of relief! Now I use it everywhere and successfully. Furthermore, it has helped me so much that, even when I don't use it, I no longer suffer like I used to. I will buy it again if and when it gets ruined, however I highly recommend it.

I bought this model after trying another type which I then returned because it had a shape on the front that pressed against my prostate, and having bought it for both the prostate and a cyst on the coccyx... it wasn't the case. This model, however, has an opening on both the front and the back, and a typical donut shape, the right consistency for me who weighs around 79kg and am 1,80m tall (I took the normal version, not the large). I tried to use it in the car but it gets too high compared to my normal driving session so I took it off immediately and will only use it in the office. I don't know how it could be in summer because the covering is heavy and in any case the foam with which it is built will definitely make you sweat. In any case, I am satisfied with it and recommend it.

The cushion actually reduces coccyx pain. The standard size in my opinion is a bit small and I had to buy a large size even though I am not a heavyweight (80 kg). as the pillow was delivered NOT in its original packaging but in an anonymous plastic bag and placed in an anonymous cardboard box without any indication or reference to the brand of the purchased item. All this suggests that it may have been the recycling of an item previously returned by another buyer. AWESOME!!!

I bought this cushion even though I am young because I spend a lot of time sitting (badly) and I have problems with my back and pelvic area. I feel good even if I have to adjust the pillow every now and then, but it's not a problem. I had tried a donut in the past and it wasn't comfortable. The only thing I recommend is to carefully evaluate which model to take depending on your weight. I don't weigh much but the seat of the cushion sags a little. In my case, however, the body does not touch the chair, but perhaps with greater weights it does.

Got this for my mom for her latest post-op problem. Unfortunately, the oval shape makes it problematic to use: in the sense that to sit you have to be very careful about how it is placed underneath, and at the slightest movement it even becomes uncomfortable, despite the softness of the cushion. I had thought about getting the bigger one, but he also complains that since it's narrow, after a while his legs feel cramped. I managed to find another one, also here on Amazon, still with the hole and the grooves but rounder, which solved all the problems, and she is very happy with it. I have been using the donut pillow for a few days to relieve the perineal pain that I have been experiencing for some time due to inflammation of the pudendal nerve. My opinion on the product is, at the moment, overall positive. I would, however, suggest two possibilities for improvement: 1) the possibility of making the cushion thicker in height in order to avoid touching the surface underneath the central hole in any circumstances; 2) the possibility of making the central hole narrower and more circular .

I purchased the pillow for a friend who had two large cysts removed from his buttocks. I was afraid that the contact with the pillow would be annoying but that wasn't the case. I'm a programmer so I work 8-10 hours a day sitting at the PC, and for another 4 I travel sitting between high speed and the metro! I have a past as a former youth road cyclist, God only knows how many B-side problems I will have over the years...I bought the cushion to minimize friction with the office chair which is the biggest problem considering the hours I spend on it …. I immediately noticed a clear improvement in terms of……. hemorrhoids (bleeding ones are a nasty beast) and for now even the cervical part of the neck is grateful, as the pillow requires careful posture, that is, when you are on it you naturally adjust yourself to stay in the center and this leads you to stand up straight. What can I say! However it will go over time I already know that I have found a valid ally for a problem that I will inevitably carry with me for almost my entire life!! Worth every penny invested!!

The zipper of the cover does not open completely and it is not possible to remove the cover. The product is not exactly as it is presented (externally everything is ok, open the zip, it looks like a food advertisement) however it does its job with some limitations. If you sit on it for a long time the Memory type crushes completely and the logic of the purchase is lost. I don't feel the refreshing and invigorating effect of the gel! All in all I'm using it and it's better than sitting on the chair alone.

The product is made with care and with materials that appear to be of quality. 2 notes/suggestions: - the cushion should be slightly higher: although I weigh less than 70 kg in some situations I notice that I rest a little weight on the coccyx despite sits in a substantially "correct" way; in the future, if I need a second cushion, I would look for one similar but higher than this one - I recommend providing it with a light cover without a "hole"; wanting to use it in public without giving too many explanations, I bought another cushion of the same size only to cannibalize the (normal) cover.

1) On the shipping and delivery side, nothing to complain about in terms of punctuality and conformity of the product with respect to what was declared. 2) As regards the product itself, it seems good, of good quality, soft, with washable lining. These are the impressions after a few days of use. My measurements are 174 cm x 68 kg and the shape of the product is well suited to my physical conformation. In case of perianal problems, relief can be obtained from using such a pillow. The only flaw is the fact that when you sit on it it crushes and the perianal area ends up touching the chair, albeit without the entire body weight weighing on it: essentially it lightens that area, which also remains partially in contact with the chair. Maybe I would have preferred to avoid this contact, but it's really a trivial matter.

The orthopedic cushion sold by Bonstato, ordered on May 28th and shipped by Amazon, arrived on June 6th in line with the expected delivery times. I have been using it for over two weeks now and I can say that it is a very useful aid, it significantly alleviates the back problems that generally afflict people forced to use a wheelchair. To obtain the best results I recommend positioning it so that it touches the backrest and sitting down keeping your lumbar part adhering to the backrest. I suffer from Interstitial Cystitis also known as chronic pelvic pain, a rare disease with no cure, very painful and debilitating. Sitting on a hard surface, even for a short time, causes excruciating inflammation and pain. This pillow helps me a lot and relieves the weight and pressure on the pelvic and perianal area and therefore I would highly recommend it to all those who have this type of problem. It also helps maintain good posture and relieves lower back and coccyx pain. It is made very well, of excellent memory foam material with removable covers for washing. It has a series of gel pads on the part where you sit which makes it even more comfortable and cool. The lining is removable and can be washed. I ordered another one to always keep in the car because I took it everywhere with me but it was inconvenient and I often forgot it at home. Now one stays in the car and the other on the desk chair when I'm at the PC or when I have to sit at the table for 4-hour long meals, typical of us southerners 😅 I'm fully satisfied with my purchases, in orthopedic shops things like this cost a lot. I think this is German and I repeat, it is excellently made with excellent materials and gave me the relief I was looking for when I had to sit down. Highly recommended and a serious company, even in after-sales, they care about customers' opinions and how they feel and are available for anything. They will send me another replacement cover for free. I think they'll send me another one for the second one too. I recommend it blindly. To avoid making fun of the buyer, it would be a good idea to immediately remove the photo of the item you offer online (in three colours: black, blue and white) with the photo of the item which is then shipped and delivered (IN ONLY ONE COLOR : BLACK!!!) After having visited various Sanitarie (sponge or inflatable donuts all of poor quality) I bought this product on Amazon due to a fracture of the coccyx (sacrum). The donut is excellent quality and I use it in the car and to sit on. It relieves fracture-related pain and is extremely comfortable. I also recommend it for back pain.

I got the pillow for my mother, who has a small sore on the bottom. The material is really good and when I tried it I found it comfortable. My mother, who is elderly, spends a lot of time sitting and often moves from the central position, which then needs to be rearranged. Sometimes, but every now and then, I put her on another anti-decubitus pillow that doesn't have a hole. Let's say that I find the product really good, soft, of good thickness and material, with a lining that allows easy washing. It can be used in an armchair and on a chair, it does not slip. In practical use, I would like to point out that for an elderly person with some difficulty, the position should still be checked periodically. Having no previous experience with these devices, I bought one of each type (i.e. even a horseshoe-shaped one) from the same manufacturer which apparently seemed to be made with the same material (the description reports the use of memory foam in some places and in others only that of the gel pad), in reality the material is different, much more resistant to compression and elastic therefore without that adaptation (and crushing) effect present in the other type, finally it does not have the internal lining which instead it is in the other. From a practical point of view they both work, the horseshoe one is softer and more comfortable but perhaps, we should try, less suitable for heavy use, the other donut one contrasts the weight much more and therefore it forces you to sit more "actively" and therefore to have greater control over your posture and the positioning of the cushion itself. I also noticed that the gel pad is fixed with a "soft" glue which in the long run could cause the pads to slip from their position, a check which I was unable to do on the other model due to the presence of the internal lining. In summary: for greater comfort the horseshoe model with memory foam, for a more dynamic use or for too loose butts, perhaps the donut model with more elastic material is better. And please more clarity in the description of the product features.

So the first days with the pillow were a disaster, I couldn't adapt and I had the impression that the affected area was enlarging causing pain in the following days, the second week went much better. Excellent materials and excellent quality, the central hole actually allows you not to touch the base of the seat but this all translates into an uncomfortable cushion also because in my opinion the legs are crushed too much, in my opinion they should have worked more on the ergonomics in the leg part instead of offering a classic donut. So to summarize the first few days you will have to get used to it and it will hurt but already the second week will be better, it does what it promises but don't expect a comfortable pillow, I forgot the shape of the pillow ensures that you actually remain straight with your back

The pillow is very useful especially if you suffer from hemorrhoids and are forced to spend many hours in front of a PC. The central hole in fact avoids excessive pressure on the painful area, guaranteeing safe relief. The product seems very well made to me: the base in foam material and the upper part in blue gel. I bought the cushion for my father who had pain when sitting. The product improves sitting and allows you to sit without discomfort. Much more comfortable than other pillows I've tried and I'm actually no longer complaining. It takes a little getting used to the "new seat", but it doesn't take long. I would say it's a good product.

I must say that I was initially skeptical, but after just a few minutes of sitting I realized that the seat had actually adapted to my shape and supported it precisely in the points it was supposed to, alleviating discomfort and making the posture much more suitable for my physical condition. The pleasant surprise, then, was that once I got up the pillow completely regained its original shape and was ready to give me relief again in the next session. The material it is made of completely met my expectations...excellent material inside and out, comfortable, non-deformable and also "fresh". Passed with flying colors and recommended to those who have problems with hemorrhoids and bedsores.

It relieves prostate pain (not pressure) thanks to the central donut-shaped vacuum, but in the long run it bothers the buttocks a little. However, I recommend it for those who sit for many hours with the prostate crushed on the chair.

I have a disability and therefore spend most of my time sitting: I periodically have extremely painful coccyx inflammations. The orthopedist recommended this pillow to me and it is beyond my expectations!!!!!!!! I use it at my desk and also for sitting on the bed: my pain has almost disappeared. Obviously you can also use it on your wheelchair, but you have to leave the air one underneath and put this one on top: if you're a little taller but it's still quite comfortable and you can push yourself just the same! I absolutely recommend it :)

I purchased this product for my mother, to replace the inflatable donut she usually uses to sit and relieve coccyx pain. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pillow and my mother said that it is definitely better than the inflatable donut she used before. The product is sold in a practical bag with handles and zip, very useful for taking it when traveling and keeping it from getting dirty. The donut is covered in a tight-fitting pillowcase made of very soft and delicate material, in the upper part; in the lower part there is a stippling of non-slip material which prevents the cushion from slipping once placed on it. Furthermore, on one side there is a handle made of the same fabric that covers the donut and which is very useful when we want to pick up and move it. Last aspect, not secondary, is that the cushion has a removable cover and therefore washable. In conclusion, I highly recommend purchasing this product because it is difficult to find better around.

It serves its purpose perfectly. I didn't need it to be soft or comfortable, but I needed it to allow me to sit without pain/discomfort and that's what I got. Of course, the first moments and sessions are "invasive" because the donut may seem uncomfortable and not very soft but then you notice that the affected part is protected from contact with the chair/armchair because thanks to the structure and material of the cushion it does not come into contact. I checked it for abscess/fistula/hemorrhoid. I am size 56 and weigh 87 kg. I purchased the large model which fits my back well.

I purchased this cushion for my husband who, due to his age, spends many hours in an armchair and was starting to have redness which I feared was the first stage of bedsores. The first impact was not positive because he found the seat rather rigid, perhaps also due to its excessive thinness, but now I have to say that it feels very comfortable and no longer complains of discomfort. Pay attention to the size, I bought it too big but I realized it later. The opinion is still positive.

I suffered, until 16/1/2017, from "perianal fistula, intestinal polyposis and hemorrhoidal prolapse" (after which I was operated on and now I'm "fine"). The pillow in question accompanied me in the few days before the operation and is accompanying me after too!!! It is a comfortable, well-made device that allows me to sit without any problem. It's completely covered in an elegant pillowcase that I washed in the washing machine and it still looks great on her. Delivery was very punctual. In short, 5 stars deserved!!! PS: To give a better idea: I liked this pillow so much that I will buy another one soon: of course, it would be nice if the company allowed you to buy a second pillow at a reduced price ….Update: As previously mentioned, and as you can see from the photo, I was so happy with the first pillow that I bought another one (one for home and one for work)! In the previous review I made a mistake because the company allows you to place a second order with a 10% discount, so I am more than satisfied!!

Unfortunately I opened the package too late to return it. It smells as if it had already been used. At least I would have expected hygiene, given the price. Removing the cover to wash and disinfect, I found frayed scraps of fabric that leave residues stuck everywhere. It is made up of a high-density donut with a strip of bubble wrap on top which should stay attached, but that's not the case. Better to go to a healthcare provider: it will cost more, but there will also be more safety regarding hygiene.

I suffer from Interstitial Cystitis also known as chronic pelvic pain, a rare disease with no cure, very painful and debilitating. Sitting on a hard surface, even for a short time, causes excruciating inflammation and pain. This pillow helps me a lot and relieves the weight and pressure on the pelvic and perianal area and therefore I would highly recommend it to all those who have this type of problem. It also helps maintain good posture and relieves lower back and coccyx pain. It is made very well, of excellent memory foam material with removable covers for washing. It has a series of gel pads on the part where you sit which makes it even more comfortable and cool. The lining is removable and can be washed. I ordered another one to always keep in the car because I took it everywhere with me but it was inconvenient and I often forgot it at home. Now one stays in the car and the other on the desk chair when I'm at the PC or when I have to sit at the table for 4-hour long meals, typical of us southerners 😅 I'm fully satisfied with my purchases, in orthopedic shops things like this cost a lot. I think this is German and I repeat, it is excellently made with excellent materials and gave me the relief I was looking for when I had to sit down. Highly recommended and a serious company, even in after-sales, they care about customers' opinions and how they feel and are available for anything. They will send me another replacement cover for free. I think they'll send me another one for the second one too. I recommend it blindly. If you are taller and taller, I recommend getting the Large size. I am small and petite and the normal one is fine.

I think it's very good for my pain but it arrived with the plastic packaging (inside) open and they didn't even bother to put it back in! For the rest everything is ok!
