Indications

DOMUS 4 is recommended for the prevention and treatment of pressure sores up to the IV stage, in long-term therapies and home therapies.

Technical Characteristics

It is composed of a 20,3cm high mattress with 20 interchangeable elements in waterproof and breathable Nylon / TPU and
by a digitally controlled compressor. The height of the elements allows you to use the DOMUS 4 mattress without using a
additional mattress.

The elements are made with the CELL-ON-CELL technique which divides the section into two single modules of which the lower one remains constantly inflated in order to avoid an excessive BOTTOM-OUT effect (sinking), and to guarantee safety in case of lack of current.

The first three elements of the mattress are static for the head; the remainder of the mattress is divided into 2 sections with 2-way alternating operation, the 9 central elements are micro-perforated ensuring forced ventilation (LOW AIR LOSS).

It comes with a breathable and waterproof Nylon / PU blanket with antimicrobial effect thanks to the Silver Ion treatment, fixed by means of a zip. The mattress can be fixed to the bed using the supplied straps and is equipped with grommets.

The CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) valve allows rapid deflation of the mattress for urgent resuscitation operations.

Compressor

The compressor, very quiet, compact and light, is easy to use, does not require lubrication and requires very little maintenance, is equipped with a visual and audible alarm for low pressure, lack of power supply and maintenance and is equipped with an interchangeable air filter. The DOMUS 4 includes the STATIC, MAX FIRM and SEAT INFLATE functions.

The mattress is connected to the compressor via fast connectors with closure, which can be used in case of patient transport. Two hooks allow you to hang the compressor at the end of the bed.
