I love this ramp. I use it to take the lawnmower and the wheelbarrow in and out of the shed which is on a ciment slab. My shed is at least 4 inches off the ground. So this ramp is very practicle. I highly recommend this product.

Replaced one stolen from outside my home by slime from some ‘community’ or other as a couple of quid worth of scrap metal. This one has a couple of points to attach the padlock and chain to try and make this one a tiny bit harder to steal, at least they’ll need to be ‘going equipped with bolt croppers. Substantially made (ie not terribly light) so needed a bit of effort to fold and move to secure storage every time betwen uses prior to me obtaining the security attchments.This one is a few inches longer than the stolen one, so a useful couple of degrees less steep to muscle my wife’s wheelchair up as my strength continues to dissipate. Good grip on the surfaces, although obviously only had the chance to use it in summer.Prompt next day delivery, so limited the period trapped in the house.

This ramp was used to provide access over the front door step for a person in an electric wheelchair. Ramp is sold as having a weight capacity of 600lb (362kg). Combined weight of chair and user is about 260 lbs (118Kg).The ramp had been used less than 20 times (10 trips out / in). On the first use the ramp was solid with no obvious movement. Each successive use it flexed more and more starting to make the user feel a bit unsafe. The movement had split the antiskid surface where the aluminum sections are joined. You can see how the sections are joined by the side rails from the image in the listing of the underside.We have a 4ft ramp of similar construction from a different manufacturer which has had extensive use over a few years which is still in use and rock solid. I returned this ramp for a refund before the return window ended as I believe it would fail a month or so after. I suspect it would have failed already with a heavier load.

I bought these ramps for getting a powerchair in and out of our van.The ramps are very heavy. I understand that this, in part, is due to them needing to be sturdy and safe for heavy wheelchairs, so this aspect I understand. The problem with these ramps is that they are awkward to handle because each ramp moves independently, plus the fact that they open out upside down, combined with the heavy weight, they become extremely difficult to unfold and put in place and not suitable for taking in and out of a van as part of regular daily use, for example shopping trips. They are fine once in place and feel safe and up to holding heavy powerchairs.

Well made, sturdy and works – IF it fits your door: check the width of the door opening. Also check what it’s going to rest on. Turns out the outside of our doorframe, where I intended to prop it, isn’t really substantial enough. Ansich ist es eine gute Auffahrrampe. Enttäuscht, dass es beim Auffahren keine Aluschrägung gibt, sowie es auf der anderen Seite zum Reinfahren gibt. Es muss leider einen guten Zentimeter überbrückt werden. Wer im Rollstuhl sitzt, wird es mir bestätigen. Schade. Wir lassen es von einer Schlosserei umbauen. Erstmal nur 3 Sterne

This product did not come with any instructions or how to care for the product. There are sharpedges on product and I note there is no BSI standard . To be able to secure this product you need to be able to bolt it onto a surface or attach a plate(not supplied. Biggest problem is there are no clear instructions and finish is poor. Given these facts it is not good value.

The ramps were very badly packaged, they opened up in the “wrong” direction.Due to the length they are heavy and rather difficult to position.None of this is helped by the truly useless instructions which give no indication of how to open and stabilise them.They actually feel rather unstable in use and do not fill either me or my partner with confidence.Buy with caution.

Premessa: mi riservo la possibilità di modificare in seguito quanto scriverò.La pedana mi è sembrata leggera e poco solida…..non credo assolutamente che possa reggere il peso che è scritto in descrizione, forse correndo talmente veloce da non fare poggiare il carico sulla pedana. Dopo averla posizionata su uno scalino di 10 cm circa, l’ho provata camminando per entrare ed ho sentito subito che nella parte centrale era poco stabile con una sensazione di “affondare”. Ora vedremo con una sedia a rotelle con persona seduta e con l’accompagnatore che spinge cosa possa accadere.

La rampe est très souple quand on marche dessus. Elle a été installée pour transformer un escalier en pente douce pour une personne ayant des difficultés avec ces escaliers, je ne sais pas si cette personne sera plus à l’aise avec cette rampe . Parece de buena calidad y bastante fuerte. Las fijas sirven para que se quede en posición plegado (ocupando poco espacio por la longitud que tiene) y también fijar en el suelo (hay que hacer 2 agujeros de diámetro ligeramente superior a las fijas para evitar que la rampa deslice al subirse encima). Es mejor verificar que se puede hacer los agujeros antes de comprar… El modelo de 152cm me ha valido perfectamente para 2 escalones de 37cm de altura total. No queda demasiado inclinado para que una persona empuje la silla de rueda manual. También podría servir para una eléctrica que suelen tener algo mas de altura.El único problema que veo es que aunque sea de aluminio, pesa bastante y como lo tengo que poner y quitar cada vez que entramos o salimos de casa, se hace la operación un poco “pesada”. Pero es lo que hay… El sentido de pliegue también esta mal hecho porque se abre al revés de su posición natural una vez colocado lo que mas o menos obliga a desplegarse entero para colocarlo y poner las fijas en el escalón superior…. Imagino que sea para el refuerzo entre la parte superior y inferior pero es algo poco practico.En fin, en general cumple con las expectativas y me evita coger a la persona minusválida a hombro. Lo agradecerá mi espalda. Buena compra

Avevo acquistato questo prodotto perché lavoro nel mondo degli spettacoli e per non durare più fatica a caricare pezzi pesanti come i subwoofer, chi è nell’ambiente sa di cosa parlo, avevo acqustato questa rampa di modo che se fossi anche solo possa caricare senza difficoltà.Ho dovuto fare il reso perché avevo preso la versione da 150 cm, ma provandola sul furgone rimane troppo ripida per quel tipo di utilizzo, acquisterò la versione più lunga da 180 cm.L’oggetto è davvero fatto bene nei suoi dettagli, con una superficie antiscivolo (ottima nel mio caso e all’esterno con pioggia o situazioni critiche), e si richiude in una piccola valigetta che prende davvero poco spazio e nonostante il carico notevole che sostiene è piuttosto leggera da trasportare quando è chiusa.

This product bows significantly when weight is placed on it. It splits apart in the center. It does not appear safe at all. The pictures of product in use is deceiving. Just be aware you may have to reinforce it if you keep it.

Die Rampe kam heute an und macht einen guten und stabilen Eindruck. Das Ausklappen ist nicht ganz trivial, aber in Ordnung. Ich hatte mich gewundert, warum an den ausgeklappten Rampenteilen in der Mitte zwei hohe Schienen angebracht sind. Nach etwas Nachdenken wurde mir klar, dass die auszuklappenden Rampenteile schlichtweg falsch montiert wurden, so dass die Seitenbegrenzungen sich in der Mitte der Rampe, statt links und rechts der Rampe befanden. Musste dann die Rampenteile abbauen neu, richtig zusammenbauen! So etwas sollte nicht passieren. Auch bei Made in China könnte man erwarten, dass die Teile bei Anlieferung richtig zusammengebaut sind.Morgen kommt die erste Bewährungsprobe.
